Good Technology and Great Team - Project Manager OCR Labs Employee Review

Having worked at a few large reputable companies, this place is well placed to be be a super star in the future There are a few reviews here but truly Kudos to Matt Adams, the Head of Tech a true genius. You only meet a few people like him in a lifetime. Being able to handle all the tech items we have from a core offering is outstanding. The product engineering team are also remarkable.

Various timezones reporting into Australia is difficult. Clash between agenda of overseas GM's which is evident, they have their own agenda's. In each others meetings they just don't show interest in each others work.

OCR Labs is a very good company to work for. I have worked here now for 3 years and I always enjoy and looking forward to working each day. I am inside our core engineering team for Engine development and it is a very technically brilliant team. As other say Mr Matthew Adams is a excellent guy and he always pushes to go to the next level, but very tough as others say :) but we have great respect for him. We say inside the team that he like Steve Jobs, very good mind even though he has not fully trained officially he is able to find solutions faster than guys who have PHD's in this. If he was not here then we would not work like we do. I do not know much about other part of business as it is very carefully guarded it seems due to security so cannot say how other part of business it. Also Pay is excellent I am very happy with it.

Our computing resources are very limited for our type of work. We have to do a lot of home learning not inside company
