Pros

Team / Culture: I've had the chance to be part of two teams during my 1 year and 4 months at OKG—starting in the Account Safety Team and then moving to the Payment Risk Team. Both teams had great leadership, especially the Team Leaders, who really care about my work-life balance and appreciate my contributions. I also got to work with amazing co-workers. They’re experienced in what they do, taught me a lot, and helped me improve. Plus, we’ve built a solid friendship, often hanging out after work. Scope of work: In the Account Safety Team, I dealt with issues like account takeovers, scams, and managing illicit fund flows on the platform. Now, in the Payment Risk Team, I use in-house tools to identify users who might be a risk to the company. I also do deep dives into their profiles to assess the risks and take necessary actions. Learning and potential: The company gives a yearly learning allowance and access to Udemy, which is a great perk. They even sponsor professional courses and licenses. I really appreciate that they encourage growth and development in their employees. Leadership and working style: The leadership, from the Head of Department down to the Team Leaders, promotes open communication. They are always ready to guide, listen to feedback, and improve workflows for everyone's benefit. The Head of the country is also very open to receiving feedback from all employees about benefits, wellness, compensation, and work processes. He take suggestions seriously and implement changes when needed. Onboarding Experience: My hiring process was super efficient. After my first interview with the Talent Advisor, I had another one with the department stakeholders (Account Safety Team). Everything, from scheduling interviews to getting the offer, took just about a week. During onboarding, all the benefits and packages were clearly explained, and I received industry-specific training, which helped me settle into the job quickly.

Cons

Unlimited snacks – It's great to have unlimited snacks, but it can be a double-edged sword if you aren't careful about how much you eat! :P Expensive eateries around the office – Being in the city center means food options can be pricey, but the company helps out by offering a generous monthly food allowance. Shift work – Since being in a service industry, the work runs 24/7 to keep things running smoothly and serve customers well. If you're not a fan of shift work, some roles might not be the best fit. But the company makes up for it with good shift allowances and transport perks.

Pros

- Complimentary food and drinks in the office - Some co-workers are working hard and friendly - Hybrid work that can work 2 days from home

Cons

- The company experienced hiring followed by layoffs, which raised concerns about workforce planning. - No severance package, career transition assistance, or visa support was provided following the layoff, which negatively impacted the perception of the company's employee culture. - There was a tendency to assign blame rather than focus on collaborative problem-solving.
