Pros

This role pushed me more than my previous sales job. Expectations are high and the pace is fast, but the support is there if you’re willing to learn. Training is regular and covers more than just the service solutions we are providing. There’s a lot of focus on becoming a better salesperson overall, which I didn’t get in my last company. Earnings are transparent. Basic salary gives security, commissions are realistic, and incentives add up if you perform. It’s stressful at times, but also satisfying when targets are hit. Good place for people who want to take sales seriously and improve.

Cons

Performance is everything, you snooze you lose.

Pros

- Pantry is stocked well at the beginning of each month - There are some colleagues that are nice, while others not. - Good exposure to different kinds of clients - Easy access to the MRT

Cons

- Poor management and often a lot of micromanaging. - A lot of office politics, good luck being there long if you're not in a clique - Pay is low, especially for the amount of work piled on you over time - The work is piled up so that there's no work-life balance - They prioritise quantity over quality but still expect you to be perfect - You must be always submissive and never question anyone - Some team leads shouldn't even have the position they're in because they don't do it well, and abuse their position of power. But due to cliques in the office, they are shielded from accountability by upper management and "can't be touched". - The cliques there make it feel like I'm back in secondary school - HR is quite incompetent in many aspects of an HR job scope - New people or people not part of the office inner circle are usually targeted for failure/termination. - New hires are undermined/looked down upon even if they have more knowledge of things pertaining to their client's industry. - Promises of growth, mentorship, and guidance are lies, they're non-existent - Very very high turnover rate
