Always trying to get employees involved, supports local charities, decent benefits, upper management tries to show they have gratitude when going above and beyond

Cons

Little to no training for branch or internal employees, acquired multiple banks in the past few years, and many do not know the basics of transactions, loan closings, or product array

Pros

The orientation process at OceanFirst Bank was exceptionally well executed. It created a welcoming, non-intimidating environment where interns were introduced to the company’s culture and daily operations. Senior leaders—including the CEO, treasurer, and other top executives—took the time to speak about their roles and their contributions to fostering that culture. Interns were also given valuable opportunities to network and connect with one another. Overall, the experience was both engaging and highly enjoyable.
