Pros
The job is to help companies recycle their retiring e-waste. E-waste is filled with bad stuff, we help lessen the impact on the environment. So that's super cool. It's a casual environment. Everybody in sales wants everybody to be successful. It's a good sales floor. OceanTech is not a huge corporate process-driven enterprise. This can be a pro or a con depending on what you like. For me it's great. This is a good inside sales gig in that the expectations are clearly known and attainable.
Cons
Salespeople work out of an ERP, not a CRM. (I'm told it's being addressed). This means you need to be very good at documentation and follow-up. To be clear this position does cold-calls daily. It's hard work if that's not your jam.
