Pros
Strong emphasis on safety, a lot to learn, opportunities for ownership and improvement, stable through pandemic. 9/80 schedule is a plus, but this obviously changes with unplanned events and turnarounds. Company has been doing remarkably well as stock price indicates with new CEO's "calibrated reliability" strategy.
Cons
Olin is still very much trying to figure out what kind of company it should be. Strong, stable leadership is very much lacking. Leaders are shuffled around regularly, and not uncommon for a department to have multiple leaders in less than one year. Prepare to feel undervalued and not respected. HR runs this company, and has a horribly unprofessional presence. New CEO has implemented some strange things. Get your experience and move on.
