Business outlook
Pros
Employees truly care about the participants and the original model for integrated care is fundamentally sound.
Cons
Employees are not treated as professionals, trusted to manage themselves or encouraged to innovate. The company culture is based on "stay off the radar and don't making waves" so there is little to no cooperation, communication or collaboration between departments. At a time when shrinking Medicare dollars should encourage us to come together, bickering and turf wars are instead the norm. Infrastructure, where it exists, is dated. This company will continue to struggle if it doesn't figure out how to be more agile in its response to economic and social realities.
