Pros
Compensation is above average in some areas. OnSite reward good workers, positive attitudes and long service. If you can demonstrate value and the ability then you can earn promotion and the opportunity to move or develop new roles. The directors were prepared to listen to constructive criticism and challenges to policies/practices when coming from a place of experience, evidence and good intentions. I made very good friends with some of my co-workers thanks to the high energy environment and the shared experience. I was
Cons
The company hours are above average but in more recent years they have been more flexible, allowing later starts and a limited ability to work remotely depending on the role and persons needs. Departments are sometimes under-resourced but I've never worked anywhere where they aren't. Internal progression isn't guaranteed but I've seen a number of employees promoted to manager after proving their ability and being given opportunities in other departments if the company can accommodate it. I've seen comments on another review on this site which are scathing about the religious beliefs of the owners but while some of the facts are correct (not keen on blasphemy, they have some rules about socialising etc), in 6.5 years I never found them to force their beliefs on their staff. They expect professional conduct which includes clean language in the workplace but they were tolerant of unintentional slips of the tongue. The leadership of the company are old school but this is also reflected in their other values - charity etc.
