I want to thank you for taking the time to give us feedback. I’m sorry that your experience at One Legal didn’t match up to our aim of being a great place to work. Yes, our industry requires that we provide a fast service to our customers, but that must never make our employees feel like they’re being pushed beyond their limits; if you felt this way, I am sorry. I will open up an enquiry into managers and how they deliver feedback, the idea one of my managers put you down is simply unacceptable.
We are taking your feedback and looking at how we can address the areas in which we didn’t deliver a great work experience for you. In particular, we are taking significant steps to encourage free, fair, and transparent communication between managers and employees. We have also added “sick time” to our employee offerings.
As you may know, the President holds a monthly town hall meeting with all staff and I encourage all staff to raise issues either with myself or the President directly or indirectly with HR. I am sorry that you didn’t feel able to do this while at One Legal – I will consider how we can further improve in this area.
Thank you again for the feedback. It helps us to make One Legal a better place to work. I wish you the best of luck with all of your future endeavors.
Jim Wilmott, Senior VP of Operations
