One Technology Services (OTS) has proven themselves to be the definition of unprofessional, unethical, and unlawful in their business practices. Despite a signed Independent Contractor Agreement with clear payment terms, they failed to pay me by the deadline, which constitutes breach of contract under federal and state law. Payment for work already performed is legally owed and cannot be withheld under any “at-will” clause — to do so is wage theft. Their conduct violates the Fair Labor Standards Act principles on timely compensation, Texas and Illinois Prompt Payment laws, and basic contract law. Beyond the illegal withholding of earned compensation, OTS repeatedly engaged in unprofessional behavior: excessive meetings that dragged on far past scheduled time, providing a faulty CRM that was not even the right software for the job, assigning executive-level responsibilities without honoring financial obligations, and resorting to hostility and intimidation — including an executive yelling at me during a meeting. This company not only disrespects the people who build their business, they exploit labor while hiding behind empty promises and excuses. As a result of these violations, I will be filing formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), the U.S. Department of Labor Wage & Hour Division, the Texas Workforce Commission, the Illinois Department of Labor, and the Attorney Generals of Texas and Illinois, as well as posting this grievance on Glassdoor, Indeed, Trustpilot, Yelp, Google Business, Ripoff Report, SiteJabber, and LinkedIn to ensure that no professional, client, or partner walks into business with them blind. To be clear, if payment is not received immediately, I will also be filing a lawsuit for breach of contract, wage theft, and damages in court on Monday, October 6th, 2025. OTS has shown they cannot be trusted to honor agreements, respect professionals, or operate with even a shred of integrity, and I will make certain every legal and professional entity is aware of it.
