Work Culture at OneData Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Coimbatore — What You Need to Know Hi all, I want to share my experience working at OneData Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in Coimbatore. This is based on my experience and what I observed among colleagues. Employees are often required to work excessive hours, beyond standard working time, without proper compensation. Salaries are sometimes withheld or deducted, especially if there is a disagreement with administration or accounts teams. The administrative and accounts staff frequently gossip, create unnecessary issues, and contribute to a toxic work environment. Management, including the CEO and COO, reportedly support these teams blindly, which exacerbates problems for regular employees. Employees are given old or malfunctioning laptops/desktops, and when hardware fails, it is blamed on the employee rather than the company. There is software that takes automatic screenshots of employees’ computers — the idea is reasonable, but because the machines are old, the software often fails. Employees are then unfairly penalized, sometimes with deductions from their salary. Employees are closely monitored outside the building — the company tracks who you leave with and may punish you even for going home with friends, considering it “unacceptable behavior.” Simple movements within the office are restricted: you cannot sit in a different bay for a few minutes, and employees must walk around to clarify doubts, which is used to monitor compliance and sometimes punish them. New hires are often given fake promises during recruitment that are never honored. The company conducts multiple IQ tests with incorrect or misleading questions and blames employees for low scores. Regular work is rarely appreciated, while administrative and accounts staff are exempt from these tests. Many employees also report issues with final settlements when leaving the company, with delayed, partial payments or no payment at all. Overall, the work environment is stressful and unprofessional, mainly due to management practices, outdated equipment, and inconsistent pay. I’m posting this to warn potential employees. Experiences may vary by team, but the patterns I’ve seen are concerning and have affected multiple people.
