      Tight knit community, but also very welcoming Can dabble in many areas, excellent skill building opportunities Inspiring community, you really feel like you're making a difference!

      Cons

      It's a small office, so tensions can run high, fast After two years it feels like I'm doing the same thing over and over This organization is very time and energy consuming -- for a good cause -- but it's hard to make time for yourself

      Nothing unexpected. Working at a small nonprofit can sometimes require increasing your responsibilities on to ensure operations are all running smoothly.

      Pros

      Staff was warm and helpful. Didn't feel like I was treated as an intern but more like a full time member. Great way to learn the inner working of a small non profit org.

      Cons

      Nothing striking, but as it is a small org the everyone has to help with the organizational needs in order to keep things running smoothly
