Pros
Very cooperative working environment, no competition between employees. Rewarding job - feels like your work is directly helping the community and that what you have been working on has made a direct impact. Very supportive employer providing employees with disabilities the support or tools they need to work to their highest ability.
Cons
Much like all government jobs, the Ontario Disability Program has a lot of bureaucracy to get through in day-to-day operations as anything that the branch does is reflective of the Ontario Government. Although there is significant opportunities for advancement for employees with seniority, it sometimes leads to employees who aren't suited for their position.
