Pros
No pros. None at all.
Cons
Lacks People Management - A good individual is useless if the CXOs & HRs lack basic people management skills. People don't take ownership of their tasks and this way only a few people are targeted on a daily basis leading to mental harassment. Nobody wants to continue to work at OS. People are leaving fast and want to leave fast. The individuals whom the company cannot afford are being asked to leave forcefully by misusing the company policy, threatening PIP and then later not allowing the employee to complete the notice period and refusing to pay a severance package instead. Incompetent & Pathetic HR - Absolutely rude HR who takes undue advantage of company policies. HR is absolutely useless and has no say/use in the company. They are late to work, they enforce WFO for employees 5 days a week while they themselves don't follow the general discipline. HR themselves come late to the office, they don't take responsibility for their own work. They push their responsibilities on other departments while doing their personal holiday planning during office hours sitting in the office with everyone. The policies designed are to benefit the company and not the employee. Incompetent & Abusive CXOs - OS made me realise that you can have an IIT & Harvard degree and still be incompetent in every aspect of running a company or in simply being a good person. OS made me realise that despite a decade-long experience in a particular industry, without relevant experience, you are still worthless. OS made me realise that everything depicted on social media can be false and very different from the realities inside a company. CEOs' LinkedIn posts are the biggest lies. OS made me learn more about the kind of person I do not want to be in life. The CXOs lack basic functional knowledge due to which they force and harass people with absurd monthly targets which they later use to threaten PIP on the employee. Despite having decades of experience, an IIT Harvard degree, and 3-4 CAs working under them, the CXOs still couldn't figure out a simple P&L calculation before making a hiring decision. Due to this the company forcefully asked people to resign while also not allowing them to serve complete notice periods threatening PIP instead. Even the feedback given to the CXOs is not taken well. They hire people for their expertise and then end up doing what they want to do without listening or even paying heed to advice/feedback from employees. So in the end, you are forced to make the hard calls which you know are wrong and even unethical in the first place. Targets - Absurd targets are given to the employees without any logical plan to achieve them. "We are a startup and this is how it works here" is the excuse given every single time someone asks for help or a solution or a process. The CXOs themselves don't know how to achieve the targets and how to help their team and lead their team in achieving the same. They put the blame on the employees for not finding a solution without contributing anything on their own. Nothing can be more stupid and ridiculous than such behaviour. Bad Ethics of CXOs & HR - They don't follow the Terms of Trade with their partners and their employee policy either. They hire employees only to later force them to resign without proper cause that too under a span of just 2-3 months. There have been a huge number of forced resignations. Existing employees are spoken to rudely and in a demeaning manner.
