Pros
It makes me happy to be a part of a company that has the technology and team to contribute towards people’s financial future and well-being.
OMG Employees and stake holders alike have seen resilience, grit and tremendous growth, especially in the trenches @ OMG. I admire the almost malleable way the company has countered events that at the time, seemed like major setbacks. I can only think of a gracious swan on the surface, whilst determined legs are kicking under the water. OMG has shaped obstacles into growth opportunities and product development which expanded the business irreversibly. We do things differently, we take risks and for countless other reasons I am proud to be an egg in the carton @ OMG (you'll understand the reference when you're on the team).
If you're thinking about coming to a FinTech, one that values its employees and gives them a platform to be heard-your search seriously ends here. I can't wait to meet you.
Cons
Company wide communications have improved immensely in the last 12 months after a staff survey.
Position description (admittedly from almost a year ago) was minimal and could've more accurately reflected scope of role. The company now has a People&Culture team so should be a non-issue moving forward.
