Pros
- Work with very talented folks in both tech and finance
- The people are also great and genuine people to work with
- You own your projects and get a lot of autonomy
- Travel is encouraged, so it's nice to travel and not have to pay for it
- Pretty good compensation and very good benefits
- The company seems pretty stable, so you don't have to worry about layoffs
Cons
- It is a startup, so some processes are still maturing
- Everyone is remote, so in-person time is nice but rare
- Sometimes there is conflict between people that could be managed better
- Not a lot of senior folks in the tech side, but that means there's also less ego (some places just have a lot of big ego people)
