Pros
I really enjoyed working for Oreck when it was corperate owned in California (2003-2005). The bonuses were incredible, we never ran out of product, it was great. After they sold the California market off to franchisees (sp?) in 2005...everything changed. Salaries went down, along with bonuses, etc. Which is understandable, if you were lucky, you still had a job, but you were now working for an independent small biz owner. They don't have the dispensible income that a major corperation has. I get that. If you have the opportunity to work in a corperate store, it may still be awesome. But I would steer clear of the franchises. Overall, I love the products and found them very easy to sell. Good quality. And no mall hours if you are in a strip mall. Most stores are 10-6 and some are even closed on Sunday.

It was very sad to see some of the top stores go downhill after the sell out.
