Pros
Five months in and I continue to be genuinely impressed. Having had the good fortune of working for some of the world’s most iconic companies (Apple, Microsoft, Amazon), as well as several start-ups and scale-ups across the world, I’ve experienced plenty of versions of what makes a company tick. Orro stands out. It’s shinier on the inside than the outside. The CEO is inspiring, the exec team is dynamic and aligned, and together they’ve built a culture that feels grounded, positive, and authentic. People are smart, passionate, and they do the right thing by others, which, in my experience, is rarer than it should be. Is everything perfect? No, of course it isn’t and no company is. But the intent here is genuine. The conversations are open, the leadership is visible, and people care. Having left previous companies where my values weren’t aligned, I can say with confidence that this is a place where integrity and respect actually mean something. I’m in Talent Acquisition, so yes, I’m probably biased but I also get to see behind the curtain every day. And what I’ve seen so far is a company doing things the right way, for the right reasons. And that has a big tick in the box from me :)
Cons
Nothing genuinely comes to mind but I will update this if it does!
