Pros
I have a good career abroad but I've always dreamed of being with my family so I could take care of them. I have two options, to bring my family abroad which is impractical or to quit my job. I finally decided to quit my job. I missed working but it's hard to find a job with good salary and benefits. Few months ago, I had this opportunity to work with Outgive. It's a permanent WFH setup so it means I can be with my family all the time, the salary and benefits are also great, the company core value is great, plus my coworkers are amazing. Indeed a dream come true!
Cons
Since it's a remote setup, I don't have the same opportunities to speak face-to-face with my coworkers, no lunch time chit-chats, and after work bonding. But it's fine, Zoom and Slack calls are enough.
