Pros

It's a great job to help those in disaster situations. The field office is there if you need them but not always convenient to your location. Corporate is a phone call away. Communication is decent via messages in Inspector Depot.

Cons

Corporate can be snarky if you call the help line. They don't want to hear about possible fraud. Expenses on last disaster took 8-10 weeks for reimbursement. Accounting wouldn't answer the phone or respond to emails. Poor organization in the field. QC inspectors are on a witch hunt and seem eager to mark you down without discussing the situation. Sometimes can be reversed but that's rare.

Great money and a wonderful team to work with. You are never alone everyone is willing to help and guide you.

Away from family but doesn't bother me too much

Pros

Decent pay if you are in your hometown. When You're helping the people that really need it.

Cons

Supervisors that see you as a number and not as a human being. They're only concerned about production and not you. Alot of applicants in Florida don't want you on their property and will pull guns on you while posting. A lot of areas in Florida don't want other races there and will run you off the road and call you absurd names. Make sure you're mentally prepared for your supervisor to tell you it's okay to risk your life for a inspection. You max out your CC doing they're job and they still don't reimburse you until they feel like it. Good luck
