Pros
Small company atmosphere, lots of opportunity to contribute, free coffee, and several times a month free catered lunches. Nice window views throughout the building, and for the most part, very friendly and open people. Pay is fair. Hard work is rewarded. Hours are flexible, benefits are okay, and work-life balance is alright. Turnover is infrequent for the core part of the company. Results driven.
Cons
Benevolent CEO can micromanage with no feedback at times. Introverts struggle. Be prepared to defend your decisions. Repromands are often public, praises private. Reviews nonexistent. Career growth not a focus. Culture and values not deliberate. Some people clearly fit in better than others.
