Pros

Friendly team, people work hard and generally work well together.

Cons

Probably underpaid for the industry, small teams that in my office has seen 2 experienced underwriters leave and not replaced with comparable people in the last 18 months. Pressure on staff to deliver if targets are not met from director which is understandable. Not much room for career progression within the branch.
