Pros
This company does amazing things to reach those in need in the surrounding communities. Management truly does care about their jobs, their employees, and the impact they make. You without a doubt do have to work hard each day or you will be held accountable for not meeting expectations - which should be expected in any job. If you work hard then your work will be appreciated. You also can't have an ego working here. C-level executives are willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done so you must be willing to as well.
Though the benefits are more traditional, as a full time employee part of my health insurance was paid for by the company and they have more than the typical starting vacation days and paid holidays.
Cons
Industry wide, not for profit companies are known to have lower wages and there is no difference here. You do the work because you care and want to make a positive impact. However, wages are still acceptable and the benefits help to balance out the lower pay.
