Pros

Reasonable flexibility with sickness, personal events, doctor appointments, etc. Good pay and training. three months being mentored before you are on your own on the floor. if you can put your head down for 1-1.5 years and find real solutions to a large logistics hole you WILL make money. Effort is 50%, Sales abilities is 15%, Internet searching skills is 30%, luck is 5%

Cons

your mentor can make or breaks your odds of succeeding just based on learning good practices or not. Some mentors just want a call monkey, some will actually invest in you. long hours, expected 7:45-5:30 lunch breaks are optional, not encouraged but not discouraged either. Sales goals require working at home to prepare sales calls for the next day, but if you can put your head down and just put in the 10+hrs/day office+home you WILL succeed.

Pros

The Colleagues and relationships you make with your co-workers. Building a book of business, and fast paced environment. Unlimited Growth Potential.

Cons

The direction the company is headed in and the toxicity of an everchanging management structure. As someone who spent almost a decade with PLS; I can say fully and honestly, they do not care about you. This is a company to build experience with and move on from. If you are a $20K rep for more than 6 months, after you roll out, they will move off of you. You will be terminated with no second thought--other reps will poach your clients and potentially ruin any relationships. Furthermore, management tends to play favorites--If you show growth potential, they will feed you, but the moment you fail on one opportunity--you will be turned over. This is not the job for anyone who questions their own ability and work ethic. PLS Hires in classes - they will hire 30-40 people at a time, and in 3 months, 4 to 5 people of that class will remain. The turn over is extremely high and there is no job security. Finally, even if you are a top performer, they will not hesitate to get rid of you.
