Pros

Work with some great people, good starting pay and benefits, laid-back work environment, informative training class, fast-paced work days, travel for training

Cons

All inside (phone) sales, unfavorable/inefficient sales system, poor managerial oversight/support, high-stress job, inability to control logistic outcomes (yet still held responsible), occasional mandated work over weekends, very little funding for travel (out-of-pocket), everything is numbers-based, impractical sales benchmarks, product's success (logistic services) determined solely by price, company favors higher-earning employees (boosts the already successful seniors vs. new and struggling) regardless of work ethic Ended up getting a job with another company doing *outside* sales, where I have my own designated territory, with reasonable sales expectations/goals, doing *very* well now, much better than I was at PLS but it's a lot easier to succeed when you work for a company with an effective/rational system of sales. And it's 100x less stressful! Little dissapointed in myself for spending so much time/effort at PLS, wasn't worth it!

Pros

The Colleagues and relationships you make with your co-workers. Building a book of business, and fast paced environment. Unlimited Growth Potential.

Cons

The direction the company is headed in and the toxicity of an everchanging management structure. As someone who spent almost a decade with PLS; I can say fully and honestly, they do not care about you. This is a company to build experience with and move on from. If you are a $20K rep for more than 6 months, after you roll out, they will move off of you. You will be terminated with no second thought--other reps will poach your clients and potentially ruin any relationships. Furthermore, management tends to play favorites--If you show growth potential, they will feed you, but the moment you fail on one opportunity--you will be turned over. This is not the job for anyone who questions their own ability and work ethic. PLS Hires in classes - they will hire 30-40 people at a time, and in 3 months, 4 to 5 people of that class will remain. The turn over is extremely high and there is no job security. Finally, even if you are a top performer, they will not hesitate to get rid of you.
