Pros

Fed the AEs lunch the ENTIRE first week. Boston Market, Domino's, DiBella's Subs, Panera, and Jason's Deli.

Cons

Computers are supremely outdated. I'd guess 2009. Not allowed to work from home. No laptop- you get an actual computer on the floor. Dozens of errors a day from billing with no way to fix. Training program was inadequate. Have to work Saturdays. Commission structure keeps changing. Random outbursts from upper management. Never get thanked. High turnover in upper management. Non-compete clause kept me unemployed after PLS. No diversity in upper management. Motivate by swearing and slamming/breaking items. No sense of collaboration between departments. Don't get to take lunch most days. Leads weren't provided in the beginning due to "turnover." I had to generate my own. No organizational mission/vision. No innovation. Not allowed to try new things unless it's a new commission structure. Not allowed to take breaks during the day. No option for unlimited time off. PLS is so cheap that they don't even do exit interviews, so I had to resort to writing this here.

Pros

The Colleagues and relationships you make with your co-workers. Building a book of business, and fast paced environment. Unlimited Growth Potential.

Cons

The direction the company is headed in and the toxicity of an everchanging management structure. As someone who spent almost a decade with PLS; I can say fully and honestly, they do not care about you. This is a company to build experience with and move on from. If you are a $20K rep for more than 6 months, after you roll out, they will move off of you. You will be terminated with no second thought--other reps will poach your clients and potentially ruin any relationships. Furthermore, management tends to play favorites--If you show growth potential, they will feed you, but the moment you fail on one opportunity--you will be turned over. This is not the job for anyone who questions their own ability and work ethic. PLS Hires in classes - they will hire 30-40 people at a time, and in 3 months, 4 to 5 people of that class will remain. The turn over is extremely high and there is no job security. Finally, even if you are a top performer, they will not hesitate to get rid of you.
