I was really thankful I got to be an intern at PMBC. It was the most hands-on internship I ever had. Right off the bat, everyone is so friendly and approachable. They really make you feel welcome as part of the team. Regarding the work, it is very hands-on, which is always great! There's always something to do and I'm not talking about running coffee either. You are literally working side by side with the executives and coordinators and get to be a part of weekly client meetings so you are deeply involved in pretty much everything. They always take intern's ideas into consideration so you always feel like your thoughts matter and won't be pushed aside. Don't be afraid to speak up and take initiative, they like that and it shows them you wanna be there! Also, they always have snacks to munch on and occasional team potlucks where the CEO brings pizza for everyone...Yummy! With that being said, you're going to learn a lot and get so much experience that will benefit you in the long run. This internship is perfect to get your feet wet in the PR industry; would definitely recommend!

The only downside is that it is unpaid and there's no parking for interns. Also I didn't get hired on at the time :( There's free 2 hour street parking but the downside is you have to move your car every so hours but it's nice to get some fresh air and its a really nice area to go for a nice walk.
