Hard work and dedication to the company's mission statement and core values mean little to this company. Coming in early every morning and staying late nearly every evening, participating in every community event they sponsor and even helping raise money for one of their charities means nothing when hiring out of desperation to keep another person from quitting. Then when someone with the qualifications they are hoping for comes in willing to work for the salary they are offering, they cut the other employee loose.
