Pros

-Loved my coworkers! Everyone was so chill and got along great.

Cons

-The micromanaging is just...wow. Prepare to be treated and talked to like you're a preschooler. Just so insanely disrespectful. -My managers did not even attempt to make an effort when I reached out with questions or concerns. This in turn hurt my career in the end, which is unfortunate that it reflected poorly on me instead of them. -Work became stagnant and none of the PMs wanted to give up their billable hours, meaning I in turn had nothing of substance to do. -My manager also made up lies about me to try and force me out and unfortunately for me, it worked. No one ever asked for my side of the story. (Make sure you get everything in writing and forward all evidential emails to your personal email account. Lesson learned). -The pay SUCKS!!! Pay your employees what they deserve!!! Also, the PTO is nonexistent. 10 days a year that you have to earn.... that's a joke. -Billable timesheets. Bane of my existence. I understand why, but get rid of the utilization goals. This truly just adds unnecessary stress for no reason and promotes greediness within in the upper management to not delegate any of their work.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry that you didn't enjoy your experience at POWER. Micromanagement and lack of support are not aligned with our company values, and we encourage everyone to speak with their HR generalist if they aren't feeling supported or need something. Regarding compensation and PTO, we've hired a compensation manager to ensure that we meet employee needs and industry standards. Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We are committed to creating a supportive environment for all our employees.

Pros

Was a genuinely great place to work. Great people and great culture. It was worth the slightly-lower-than-average pay because work life balance and benefits were great. I enjoyed going to work every day.

Cons

Poor financial decisions from upper management regarding the shareholder program led to the company's demise. Upper management sold out to WSP. Management made millions while long time employees got zilch. As someone else had mentioned, retention bonuses were unfairly distributed. Most people didn't get any retention bonus even if they had been long time employees of the company. It really felt like everyone who wasn't upper management got stabbed in the back. They got their payout then dumped the company. Still stings to this day.
