      Not a Bad Place to Work - Lab Technician PPG Employee Review

      Pros

      Good benefits package, good people. The work is fairly easy lab work. If you stay for awhile, there's a good chance at advancement if you want it.

      Cons

      Always on your feet as you always have tests to be run. Lab is responsible for allowing production to continue which can be stressful. Pay isn't great (for lab technicians in general)

      Very good work environment and your manager will give you a lot of support

      Pros

      - Education benefits (but access/support depends on your manager) - Flexible workplace (work hours/wfh) - Diverse workforce.

      Cons

      - Does not support employee promotions. Very difficult to get promoted if you are not an engineer. - Low pay, salary increases depend on manager. For the past couple years, most employees did not even receive adjustment for inflation. - Constantly loses top talent because management is unwilling to invest to keep good employees.
