It is possible to have a long-term career with PPG. There are a lot of people with extensive knowledge.
Cons
The company and many of it's managers have a bad habit of knee jerk reactions to short term market conditions. Expect everything you knew to change year to year and in special circumstances quarter to quarter. This includes compensation packages such as commissions, branding, and even base pay.
