Pace is a company that prioritizes making as much money as possible while trying their very best to pay everyone as little as possible. A typical day was easily 12 hours, while some analysts were working 14 to 16 hour days. I had little to no training, but was constantly demanded to meet all kinds of expectations. The project managers are pressured to accept all work regardless of the lab's ability to complete it. This often resulted in arguments between departments and work being received late. And since the work was always received late, we were always asked, often last minute, to work all day on Saturday and Sunday. Soon enough, everyone was so stressed and overworked that most days resulted in everyone screaming at each other. Upper management always looked to blame analysts for not meeting demands instead of trying to find ways to make things easier for staff. The operations manager even lied to the regional manager about me and made plans to terminate me in order to cover for his laziness and incompetency. Accepting that job was one of the worst decisions I've made, but leaving that job was one of the best. Please avoid this employer if you have any respect for yourself.
