Pros
Working with at-risk girls most of who have been dealt a cruddy hand in life and deserve a fair chance. Great mission (on paper it reads well) Social services side of the program is nice for the girls who don't use it just to get out of class.
Cons
Long work weeks Unrealistic expectations Company wants to grow too quickly without having a grasp on existing centers "Wrong" types of girls allowed to enroll just to play the numbers game, ultimately putting the girls who truly need PACE at further risk for harm. No one at any level of the organization has a true education background "Leaders" on the education team are condescending and lazy No support for academics Very typical of a non-profit organization - elbow rubbing and impressing anyone who will give a penny (often exploiting the girls in the process)
