• Conservative company with conservative management. Large majority of white men promoted or hired into senior roles. Lip-service efforts made to diversity and inclusion, but no actionable changes and ultimately a non-inclusive environment for non-white, non-male employees.
• Low expectations and little turnover result in culture that is complacent with long-tenured employees and no options for development or advancement.
• Little-to-no development or emphasis placed on good management practices for new or mid-level managers. Worked in 5 different departments with each having a woman with a story of their male manager being disrespectful, unsupportive, or even abusive.
