Pros

The best reason to work at Pacific Rim Mechanical is it's family type enviroment and the ability to work up through the ranks. The majority of positions are filled in this manner. The work enviroment is casual, but always profesional. A great place to work for those who want to take charge, work to their full potential, and be rewarded for it.

Cons

The management is sometimes more reactive than proactive and don't always see through the changes they desire. The lack of a rigid and formal company structure will often leave workers without a broad background to figure things out on their own.

Pros

Gained a very good introduction to the construction industry. All people I worked with were super helpful, friendly, and overall concerned with my professional career development. They were always very kind when answering questions and were very helpful given it being my first internship experience.

Cons

The work in construction can get monotonous occasionally, however, since I worked with fantastic people I was never bored.

Pros

Pac Rim has amazing company culture. When I tell stories about work people often bring up how they wish their company had a fun family like culture like Pac Rim does. There are many company events that allow employees to feel like family. Construction is a tough industry, but having a company that has your back makes it more rewarding than defeating. Pac Rim is also very good about promoting professional development. We have regular performance reviews that emphasize support from higher ups and provide constructive feedback. All in all, a great company if you want to be in construction management.

Cons

The only cons I can think of for pac rim I feel have more to do with the construction industry than with the company itself. The early mornings, long days, stressful environment, male dominated field are all a part of the construction industry and are just a part of the job.
