Pros
Over all my internships I was always worried about getting stuck on a pharma account, but Palladian is different. So far I have only been assigned to National Institutes of Health work, and that's been an awesome experience so far. I don't think Palladian would ever consider taking on anything but mission-oriented assignments. I didn't know that was possible, but I'm really glad that it is! I want to grow in my field, and Palladian feels like the right kind of place for that.
Cons
I wish we did had volunteering opportunities, because it would be a great way to get to know people better and give something back. Also, unlike in my other experiences, no one really works extra hours, which is a good thing for many people, but I'm concerned a little that I'm not getting the real experience. True that there is more than one way to show commitment to a client. But I feel a really strong commitment, and there have been times where I feel like I should get something done but others have told me not to rush.
