Pros
I left ParaCore more than a year ago, and I still look back on my time very fondly. I loved my time at ParaCore and it remains one of my favorite jobs -- we just grew apart. I’ll do my best to I always thought of ParaCore as the un-agency. What I mean by that is the majority of people working there are not “agency” people, or at least were not while I was there. The environment is completely unlike most of those described by colleagues at other agencies. It’s not competitive, and the behavior of its employees is toxin- and drama-free. Pros: - CEO is more passionate and driven than anyone I’ve ever worked with - Lots of room for professional/personal growth and learning - Culture is very tight-knit and family-like - Great company bonding events - Zero office politics - Expectations are generally well-defined (even if they can be a bit aggressive) - Interesting and wide range of challenges to solve - Bennies are decent: incentive programs, healthcare, snacks & lunches
Cons
At times it can feel like a high-stress environment, but communication is key. Leadership is passionate but can be demanding. That said, the team is extremely flexible and everyone was willing to pitch in when any teammate felt overwhelmed or needed help. Oh, and the lighting could be better.
