Pros
Since joining Paradise it's been quite an interesting journey. I've been able to make a lot of positive impact, experienced opportunities that have helped me grow into a much better professional, and ultimately have really enjoyed being able to see other succeed and learn a lot about their cultures, personalities and strengths. Having people in over 25 countries contributes to having a really diverse talent pool that compliments each other and position the company better in order to tackle new business opportunities in new languages in new geos and much more.
Cons
Honestly what is a pro in terms of diversity also makes it somewhat of a con which is that because we have such a diverse talent pool in so many different places we don't get the opportunity to spend as much time as it would be ideal for in-person interactions. There's a lot of amazing people that would be great to meet in person but the complex logistics and costs makes it hard. Having such a diverse talent pool in so many areas also makes it a little bit of challenge to be fully coordinated across timezones for example, but I see this as not a big con but an adjustment that needs to be made in order to accommodate and compensate for us being able to work with so many people around the world.
