Pros

- Great people. The team is super strong with a ton of highly intelligent people who are also fun to be around - The business opportunity is huge. The core product actually works and the mission is very easy to rally around. It feels like most people here genuinely believe in what we're doing - Super high ownership environment. You can often take on new projects and initiatives with little red tape - A good amount of mobility within the company. I've seen a number of people pivot roles/get promoted over time - Good benefits (free breakfast, lunch, dinner) and solid pay

Cons

- A lot is expected of you. Probably not the place for you if you're looking for a chill startup experience with a ton of structure - The hours can be on the longer side. That being said, it does seem like the culture around that is changing and people are starting to prioritize some more balance, especially as our team grows.

Pros

-Good benefits: $500 monthly transportation and coffee stipend, plus free fancy gym membership at Bay Club -High Ownership and Great opportunities for Impact -Employees overall are smart and fun to work with

Cons

Leadership does not have much of a long term vision, they are pretty short-sighted and lead the company in an ADHD like behavior with montly metrics and work focus keeps changing every month. Lots of conflicting incentives and work across departments, leadership does not align the departments well since they lack the vision for future. Work hours are demanding except 55-60 hours at least, quite few people show up at 9am and don't leave until midnight. PTO is unlimited but taking PTO is not welcomed, multiple instances when employees asked for PTO they were told to work at least 1-2 days during their PTO. Extreme high expectations, some teams have missed out their monthly target metrics, the next month instead of keeping them similar level to be more achievable for growth, the target metrics for next month increased even more significantly without any meaningful estimation.
