Pros
Pariveda is all about your personal growth. They talk about it a lot during the recruiting process but they follow through on that talk once you join. The mentorship here is unlike any other company I have worked for. You get an assigned mentor on your first day but a lot of people pop up as informal mentors, which is really cool to have. Flexibility--- my manager is very understanding and tries to accommodate my personal needs as much as possible. The pay here is pretty standard for developers but the growth potential is unlike any I have seen. Within the few years I have worked here my salary has almost doubled. Pariveda is really big on community, each office has it's own sense of pride and quirks and when you get the chance to go to trainings, meeting Fins from other offices is really fun and stress free. Our new office design is really cool. I'm digging the open workspace concept. Just wish we could work in the office more often.
Cons
You are at the client site a lot. So unless your office is big on out of work hours activities, you can feel more of a client employee than Pariveda. The hours can be daunting but the 4 weeks of PTO (5 if you buy an extra week) really helps with that. Seems to be a pressure to cut cost. We get weekly emails from the COO letting us know if we are hitting numbers, exceeding or missing. Sometimes that can heighten the level of stress but I guess at the end of the day if I'm on a sinking boat, I would want to know as soon as possible to plan accordingly.
