Pros
Talented, kind people across teams. Relaxed work culture.
Cons
1. Leadership does not understand any function other than sales so half the time they hire you with no idea how to use you. 2. No long-term product vision. The company has no interest in developing new technology. Their sole focus is repackaging their cash cow (a relative term here). 3. They use PIPs as a cheap headcount reduction tool. I've seen bosses hold the sword of PIP over entire teams for months. 4. No established processes for anything, ranging from IT to HR. 5. Zero growth prospects for anyone working in the marketing function. 6. Reviews are entirely qualitative since there are no established metrics for performance. I was literally told that I should show my face to my boss everyday for a month as a part of my performance improvement plan. Even written and finalized metrics are dismissed if it doesn't suit the guy above you. 7. Management is capricious and expects employees to be clairvoyant to their changing demands. 8. Zero employee skill development or support.
