Feel like the agency constantly butts heads with county government to keep employees wages competitive

Good place to work, the HR does a great job of recognizing employees and providing guidance as well as encouraging wellness programs. There are a lot of good people that work for Person County Government.

The salary can be somewhat on the lower end due to it being a smaller county but the pay ranges have increased a lot over the years I have been here due to the county hiring outside consultants to adjust the pay scales. This has been a work in progress but getting better.
