Honestly, I've been really disappointed with my time at petscorner... Staff are not looked after in the slightest. The manager at my store was just a bully. They would never clean and expect everybody to do all the dirty work but not lift a finger themselves. They would bully and insult staff to other members of staff, belittle them, and even complain and call them names to customers! Everything was ALWAYS somebody elses fault. They was always caught in a lie... When I raised this to upper management, they seemed to be on our side and willing to help at first. However, months down the line, very little was done and completely pushed under the rug!! It was diabolical! Management came into the store and laughed and joked with them as if they didn't know they was making our lives hell, even after multiple customers/staff complaints! After this I completely lost faith in the company and knew exactly where their morals lie... MONEY $$$$$. Also, very low pay for the responsibility and tasks expected of you. It's all very pretend corporate. Fairy land you might say. Left alone most days with no breaks. Made to go to training sessions MILES away. I'm talking at least 4 hours away about 5-6 times in a year. You're also not allowed to show tattoos. You need to wear dress shoes which are really uncomfortable since you're not allowed to sit down all day. No unnatural hair colours etc. If I was you, I really wouldn't bother, they have an extremely high turn over of staff, tells you everything you need to know...
