Pros

-The animals (of course) -Good for making connections in the pet community -Most TM shifts are a minimal workload

Cons

-Management is laughable at best or complete passive aggressive micromanaging with zero actual accountability or communication. -Management and HR side with the customer 90% of the time. -Corporate is solely focused on "add on" sale mechanics that drive regular sales numbers down. -Stores typically only give the three favorite employees hours and the rest get 5 hour shifts. -Management cherry picks corporate rules making it impossible to know what to expect while continuing to operate against procedures (ie using paper grooming tickets instead of the comp system) -Hr is negligent and rarely attempts to do anything about actual problems.

Pros

Working with dogs donating expired food to shelter, Doing constant returns for beetles and worms in dog food as well as treats.

Cons

Sudden change to salary forced to work 55-60 hours a week no O.T unrealistic workload not enough hours to staff store according to meet expectations. Extremely low pay vs work load and responsibilities leads to animal neglect. Groomers underpaid cant commission causes high turn over. Lack of coverage never use PTO, so you loose it they dont pay it out to you. They call you CEO of company without a ceo paycheck! Run from this company.
