Pros

The hours are decent and the coworkers on your level are very easy to get along with. It's great teamwork and we listen to each other to get the job done even with the lack of trust with the higher ups. Everything is done in a timely manner.

Cons

It was once a great place to work. But then it changed drastically. There are people in management that will stab you in the back the first chance they get. They lack the ability to self assess and have little to no experience with their leadership and will give you impossible and at times condescending tasks for you to complete just to keep you busy once your daily work is completed while they remain working on the same email for hours while floating on FB. Most of the Directors are young between late twenties and early thirties. The pharmacy veterans that worked in the field for thirty to fourth years are easily replace once questioned about the directors methods. Definitely a place where there's too many chiefs and not enough Indians. No one wants to take responsibility for their actions instead will blame it on the techs under them for something they've missed. Techs have been tasked to do work that pharmacist were supposed to do because the policy ordered them to do it. It's definitely ignored. Pharmacists and tech managers can come and go from the pharmacy as they please and no pay gets taken from them because they make the schedules. But if a tech shows up late one day, a huge chunk will be take out of your next paycheck. Daily Pharmacy policies will not apply to them but will apply to you double time as you will be written up for it. The whiplash is a hard slap to the face. It's Definitely a "do as I say not as I do" type of place. No raises in your pay because it goes out of their bonuses. And they want all of that money. Theirs no moving up with the company. They will make sure you stay where you are. If you tell HR, or higher management, then they will make sure that you are fired by the end of the week. It's a club that you are definitely not invited to and they will keep you out unless you bend over backwards not for fulfilling your job requirements but for them. They take full advantage of your generosity. It's an unwelcoming environment that will make sure you feel uncomfortable your whole shift.

Pros

What stands out most is the organization’s clear commitment to improving long-term care pharmacy services—not just operationally, but in how care is delivered to patients. There is a strong focus on quality, patient safety, and continuous improvement, which makes the work both meaningful and impactful. Leadership is engaged and forward-thinking, with a genuine emphasis on building strong teams and empowering individuals to contribute. I’ve especially appreciated the collaborative environment and the ability to make a real difference while helping shape processes and outcomes. PharMerica is also investing in its people—creating opportunities for growth, development, and innovation across roles. For anyone looking to be part of a team that is evolving, values accountability, and is focused on delivering better care, this is a great place to build a career. Overall, a dynamic and purpose-driven organization with a strong future ahead.

I appreciate that the company offers career development opportunities, educational support, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient care. With my background in pharmacy and customer service, I believe I can contribute to providing accurate, compassionate service while continuing to learn and grow within the organization.

Cons

Some employees have reported challenges with management communication or consistency in leadership styles. As with many large organizations, experiences can vary by location and department. Having clear communication and a supportive manager can make a significant difference in the work
