Pros

Good benefits free medical benefits and tuition reimbursement , low lay starting but it increases every year 2x ( union and yearly progressional raise) Very organized place and good union & co workers. Nice place to work as long as you don’t have a vindictive supervisor. Most people are nice & the company care about your health.

Cons

Low pay starting but it increases as the years goes, 1 year probation period. Come to your house if you call out sick to verify. Mandated overtime if you have low seniority. Busy calls non stop. Call center manager don’t care if you have issues he won’t say much better off going straight to the union who stands up for you. Although it is opportunities to move up hard to move up fast due to seniority.

Pros

Easy work guaranteed 40 hours a week great benefits no lay offs pension 457 or 401k paid sick days holidays and vacation days

Cons

You get penalized for using sick days to easy to lose progressions in the summer time the higher up have less work so they micromanage everything you do new rules are constantly being added it’s not a real union the union works for Pgw so it’s a conflict of interest when it comes time for them to defend you the company always puts the blame on you if they can never find a conclusive answer to a problem
