Pros
The Phoenix management is great and very communicative when needed. Their compensation for contract work with little experience is not bad. Work-life balance is excellent. The customer is a market leader with lots of diverse teams and learning opportunities. If placed on the right team, can be an excellent learning experience.
Cons
There was no detailed communication between Phoenix and the customer about what the job's expectations were and the contract duration. I was meeting expectations for Phoenix, but there seemed to be a disconnect between them and the customer about job responsibilities and expectations. There was also a severe lack of training and introduction to the customer's products, which was frustrating as the customer was expecting results quickly and there was no clear direction as to what was needed. There was also no on-site support. The role is advertised as a 'full-time role', but it is contract work that can be very unstable.
