Pros

There are no pros at this time.

Cons

This company only cares about the money. They treat their floor employees like slaves. They just announced that on top of constant mandatory Fridays 8hours, that we would now be forced to work mandatory 8 hours on Saturdays too. Every single Friday and Saturday. We were promised at the interview for second shift that we would be on 4- 10 hour shifts with occasional Friday overtime and no Saturdays. No they will not pay double time for these new mandatory Saturdays. They do not care that we have families of our own we’d like to see. This company only cares about money. Also we’re so short staffed that the amount of trucks they want a week is unreachable for any of us. And we were told that they’d be increasing the amount of trucks as well. Absolute joke.

To maximize our opportunity as a team, we are working on setting weekly targets that will allow our teams to flex to achieve our weekly objectives. Pros

Good exposure to various accounting topics, a lot of pride in the product and serving customers.

Cons

Good place to work if you’re happy with being compensated with donuts for your extra effort and hours. Don’t expect much support from other departments, very siloed. Fingers will be pointed for things out of your control. Favoritism is a problem and lack of appreciation for efforts/improvements. Often times your questions will be faced with condescension. Not many folks of retirement age are on the finance staff. Interpret that as you may.
