Pros

The work on the ground is amazing. Good at working from home

Cons

Micromanaging culture isn’t nice. No empathy towards a fundraiser and gone in to money grabbing. Darkness into light had its worst year and that was down to pushing for to much money. No internal progression for staff, and hired outside of the organisation offering higher wages. Recently made a lot of the fundraising team redundant, by frustrating the long term staff so much that they left before offering the ones that other staff. Then the ones that wanted to stay were let going saying you experience doesn't line up with our direction. They made the cuts say the level they shouldn’t have. Removing the nationwide team and operating out of Dublin.

Pros

Good culture so far, promote employee development, good line management, felt valued when came up against problems, shift flexibility, great collegial network

Cons

Pay isn’t great, night shifts are hard and rolling shift pattern means therapist is find consistent alternative private work challenging. Don’t really know top tier management, very much cocooned within a team.
