Pros

IF you are given a good operations manager, they can be very supportive. While being a porter for this company I was privileged to be trained by very impressively skilled people. They actually helped me gain skills that contributed to my hospitality skills that I use to this day.

Cons

This company does not give any chance of growth even when you've shown much loyalty to their company! Once my original operations manager quit because of corporate, the company became a complete disappointment to me because their true colors came out. You can kill yourself for this company, and they will still look at you as replaceable and not important or even not skilled enough. They claim you don't have the skills but they are the ones training you. They bring in their own and these guys don't have a clue what they're doing. In fact they'll even quit the same day. The managers for this company that I have seen and even met, have all been very disappointing. They paint a picture that is very inaccurate. They make you think they care and then use everything against you. They absolutely make it clear by their actions that they do not care about you!

Thank you for your feedback - I am happy to hear you felt the the training team was impressive and your hospitality skills have grown and can be used today in your career. I am personally aware of this particular situation in Georgetown and understand the predicament you and others faced with the dealership we provided services to, being sold and changing ownership. In this case, we are at the mercy of the new owners and many times, change is certain (as was in this particular location). I was sorry that we did not have more locations nearby so that we could offer you (and other loyal employees) additional options. Rest assured that any promises made my our leadership - were genuine and we believe our employees are our greatest asset. The good news is we are expanding in the Austin area this year and we are excited about future growth and opportunity for former and current employees! Stay tuned.
